They begin with a visit to the storied “Anacostia” neighborhood for a fascinating look at the history the area and importance of telling community stories with the team from the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Museum (the only Smithsonian museum dedicated to capturing the stories of the region’s geographic and cultural communities, with a focus on the unique history and heritage of each).
